Cedwyn Scott will be out for the foreseeable future the club confirmed this afternoon. The 25 year old, who’s penalty fired Notts back to the Football League, has been ruled out with a knee injury.
The injury was suffered during Scott’s substitute appearance against Tranmere. He had initially tried to continue, but was forced to come off leaving Notts to play out the remainder of the game with 10 men.
This adds to Notts’ growing list of injuries, with Geraldo Bajrami ruled out for the rest of the season, and Will Randall and Tiernan Brooks also facing a spell on the sidelines, albeit their return is expected much sooner.
It also means any potential approach for a loan move for Junior Morias now looks doubtful, with Notts short in the forward areas, unless they add a striker before Friday’s deadline.
