As expected Neal Ardley rung the changes for this FA Trophy encounter on the Hampshire coast.
Matty Wolfe and Jimmy Knowles made the most of their opportunities combining for the first goal and Knowles cooly slotting home from the penalty spot in the seond half.
There was a debut for new signing Jordan Barnett and a place on the bench for youngsters Tiernan Brooks and Tyreace Palmer, the latter eventually making his debut and having an eventful first 22 minutes in senior football.
All square at full time ment Notts secured their place in the quarter final draw by winning the resultant penalty shoot out by 4 goals to 2.
