It was lights, camera and plenty of action as Notts launched their inaugural streaming service for the game against Barnet.
The Bees came to Meadow Lane on the back of a good win away at Dagenham on Tuesday night but the opening day thrashing by Eastleigh meant they had already shipped 6 goals in 2 games.
Notts, for a change started on the front foot and what a difference it made with 3 early first half goals assumingly putting the game to bed.
But this is Notts County and a moment of sloppy play just before the break saw Barnet pull a goal back and they continued to press in the second half and were rewarded with a second goal making it a nervy final 15 minutes.
A goal for Michael Doyle in the dying seconds finally put the tie to bed but if Notts don't find a way soon to deal with teams when they press the midfield it could be their undoing in the coming games.
Dion Kelly-Evans moved back to his more familiar right back position with Brindley being rested on the bench along with Thomas and O'Brien.
Ruben Rodrigues, Enzio Boldewijn and Damien McCrory all made their first starts in what appeared to be another 4-3-3 formation, although it did look like it became more of a 4-2-3-1 at times.
Key stats show Notts were clearly on top for much of the game and although Barnet had more attacks Notts were more threatening in the final third and in front of goal. That said Barnet only had three attempts at goal and scored from two of those.

Kyle Wootton got his third goal in three games to be the early leader in the battle for top goals scorer. With a total of 252 minutes played it means he is averaging a goal every 84 mins or every 0.93 games.
Looking at goal contribution and there is already a tussle for top spot between Wootton and Roberts. Also interesting that the two central midfielders are now also chipping in with Reeves having a goal and assist.

I have put together a very simple xG rating based on the fact that on average it takes 10 attempts to score a goal. Based on this both teams on Saturday way out performed their xG ratings.
The problem with this model is it doesn't take into consideration the difficulty of each attempt. With this in mind I'm hoping to create a new xG model to take difficulty into consideration and will post more info on this once I am happy with it.

Looking at goal time segments and it's nice to see a pattern of early goals emerging.
All 7 of Notts' goals so far have come from open play with 4 inside the 18 yard box and 3 goals from outside the box.
The goals conceded include one from a corner, from outside the box and two from inside the 6 yard area.

Some big points for one or two players in the ratings battle, particularly for the attack minded players. A lack of clean sheets and goal contribution so far is hurting the defensive players.

Callum Roberts moves to the top of the ratings table just ahead of Kyle Wootton. Michael Doyle, Enzio Boldewijn and Jake Reeves all make gains after their game contributions.
Another three points for Neal Ardley who now has an overall win percentage of 41%.
So on to Tuesday night and a real test for Notts away at joint league leaders Sutton Utd who along with Hartlepool have won all three games so far.
