As expected it was a tight affair just south of the capital as Notts and Sutton fought out the first top 7 clash of the National League season.
With Wes Thomas and Elisha Sam not travelling with the squad due to illness Neal Ardley set up with a 4-3-3 formation with O'Brien joining Doyle and Reeves in midfield and Wootton flanked by Rodrigues and Boldewijn up front. Brindley came back in at right back with Kelly-Evans moving back over to the left as McCrory dropped to the bench.
Key stats suggest there wasn't much to separate the teams although it does appear Notts edged in most areas.

Maidenhead up next for Notts who typically managed to stem the flow on Tuesday night at Wrexham and will be keen to do the same at Meadow Lane. That said it's a great opportunity for Notts to really push on and make it 4 wins out of 4.
