Notts County have appointed a new Chief Executive.
As reported by the club's official website, former Shakhtar Donetsk Executive Joe Palmer is the man tasked with filling the void left by the sudden loss of Jason Turner.
Notts owners Chris and Alexander Reedtz were reportedly impressed with Jones following what they called "an extremely thorough recruitment process", adding "We’re confident he will be a great fit for the role and will do a fantastic job leading and supporting our administrative team, who have guided the club brilliantly in the wake of Jason Turner’s tragic passing and our promotion back to the EFL".
Jones, who more recently held executive roles at Sheffield Wednesday and AFC Wimbledon is due to commence his role on Monday 7th August.
