Moving onto Wealdstone who visit Meadow Lane this evening.

Notts came out on top in both meetings between the clubs last season without conceding a goal, winning 3-0 at home and 1-0 away.

The Stones have had a mixed bag of a start to the season having lost their opening two games they are currently unbeaten in the last three getting their first win at the weekend in a 1-0 defeat of Altrincham.

Current form radar suggests that Notts should have too much for the visitors, however the Stones are not exactly leaking goals averaging just 1.2 goals conceded per game.

Additionally Wealdstone are the only team to take a point off Dagenham so far this season drawing 2-2 away at Victoria Road having led twice.

Wealdstone have again signed 19 year old goal keeper George Wickens on loan from Fulham for a second spell at the club and he has managed to record two clean sheets out of their first 5 games.

The Stones, like Notts also managed to plunder a couple of signings from Torquay during the summer including central midfielder Matt Buse and front man Josh Umerah who has already chipped in with 2 goals this season.

Wealdstone are another team that have adopted the Three at the back philosophy, swapping between a 3-5-2 and a 3-4-1-2 formation. It will be interesting to see how the shape up for tonight's game and it's likely that they will, like others before them try to frustrate Notts with an energetic high press.

Notts clear favourites (again) with best odds currently 11/25 for the win. You can get 19/4 on a Wealdstone win and about 15/4 for the draw.

Based on these odds Notts have a 69% chance of a win and Wealdstone a 17% chance.

Apologies for the truncated report and preview and lack of player feature but we will be back on track again starting with a full report following the Wealdstone fixture.

As always thanks for reading.

Until next time.
