Not much to shout about with this one other than Notts managing to get through the 90 minutes unscathed meaning Ian Burchnall heads into the play off eliminator against Grimsby with a fully fit squad to pick from.

Maidenhead made Notts work for the 3 points in a game that panned out pretty evenly with Cal Roberts' converted spot kick the only thing separating the two sides.

Match Stats:

Points needed updated and it's quite pleasing to see that the predicted points, albeit adjusted slightly with 10 games to go, turned out to be pretty accurate.

Progress updated and interesting to see how erratic the first half of the season was compared to the second half.

National League results tracker updated. It's pretty clear the three defeats in the early part of the season and then going four league games without a win after the defeat at Chesterfield were probably two periods that seriously dented Notts' title aspirations.

Goal segment chart: Over the course of the season Notts proved to be slow starters with just 7 of the 81 goals scored converted in the first 15 minutes.

Six game segments updated. 6 Wins and 2 defeats in the final 8 game segment with 18 points from a possible 24.

Player stats updated:

As usual this is the new table that is also available to view on the player stats page of the website here. There will also be separate tables for the two cup competitions.

Goal scatter charts updated.

You can hover on the dots (tap if on a touch screen) to view details for each goal, although it's a bit busy in the penalty area!

xG (expected goals) and a penalty helps to boost Notts' xG tally for this game. Without it the game would have looked very even.

National League goal scorers includes cup games, penalties and own goals. I've added a column for the play-offs.

Ian Burchnall's record updated after 71 games.

Like last season it's a 5th place finish which might not seem like progress, however 82 points in 44 games equates to 1.86 PPG which would have seen Notts run a close challenge for 2nd place last season. This just goes to emphasis how competitive the National League has been this season.

Looking ahead it's Grimsby at home next Monday night with an away semi final in North Wales to look forward to for the victors. I'll be doing an in depth play-off preview over the coming days so watch this space.

As always thanks for reading.
